Dor Yang 242 Coating Thickness Gauge with Printer

This instrument offers high measurement accuracy, fast speed, and excellent stability compared to similar domestic products. It is easy to operate, features a built-in printer, and has an aesthetic design. The device is primarily used for measuring the thickness of coatings and plating layers on metal surfaces.

The Dor Yang 242 is widely applied in industries such as electroplating, corrosion protection, aerospace, aviation, chemical industry, automotive, shipbuilding, light industry, and commercial inspection. It can be used in both laboratory and engineering field applications. Different probes can be configured to suit various conditions, making it an essential non-destructive testing instrument.

Main Functions:

The device employs both magnetic induction and eddy current measurement methods to non-destructively measure:

  • The thickness of non-magnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates (e.g., aluminum, chromium, copper, zinc, tin, rubber, and paint on steel alloys and hard magnetic steel).
  • The thickness of non-conductive insulating coatings on non-magnetic metal substrates (e.g., rubber, plastic, paint, and oxide films on aluminum, copper, zinc, and tin).

Features:

  • Automatic zero-point calibration to correct system errors.
  • Upper and lower limit settings with out-of-range alarms.
  • Low battery indicator and automatic shutdown.
  • Large LCD screen with backlight and adjustable contrast.
  • Two-point calibration for enhanced accuracy.
